LANDSIDE

Not very easy from the terminal area. From the departures area there are views of a few gates and the hanger area where several aircraft are parked up. The 2 Government E175’s could be seen from here.

 

If you turn right out of the terminal and find your way to the new train and bus station there are some views from the side of the building. Most movements should be seen from here.

 

Some parked aircraft will be missed from here. There are apparently views around the perimeter but you would need a car.

 

AIRSIDE

Good views of the runway. A left seat for arrival and right for departure might be the best for seeing anything you can’t get from the terminal.

 

HOTELS

Marriot has a hotel next to the terminal and it looked like the top floors would have a good view.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

LOT dominates. Very little else of interest.

 

Sprint Air are based here with S340’s. However I counted 7 parked up in various places and could only read one of them.

 

AN24 SP-LTA remains WFU along with a couple of others.
