Noumea Magenta – Oct 2014

 

LANDSIDE

This is the domestic airport and located close to the city centre. Bus number 40 takes around 20 mins from the bus station in Noumea. The international airport is some 35km away with very few flights. A cafe in the terminal has good views over the field and there are plenty of views around the perimeter. Its only a small airport and easy to walk around.

WHAT TO EXPECT 

Air Caledonia base there ATR’s here. There is maybe 1 or 2 flights per hour so check timetables. There are also various other general aviation aircraft parked around with a few small hangers. Air Calin are based at the international airport.
