LANDSIDE

Exit the terminal, turn right and right again. There is an excellent café on top of the terminal giving excellent views of the ramp and runway. Some of the WFU aircraft can be logged from here. Didn’t open till midmorning.

 

On the entrance to the Airport is a T134 on a pole. ER-65036 visible from outside the terminal.

 

AIRSIDE

Decent views of the ramp and runway area.

 

A seat on your left for arrival and right for departure are your best chances of getting the WFU stuff. The runway is quite a distant away though and it can be tough to get stuff, especially as a lot of the registrations are fading. You will need a camera.

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

In terms of Movements there are very few. However I logged 26 aircraft parked up, mostly WFU and never to fly again. Several T134’s and AN24’s. Y40, AN12, AN72 and a couple of IL18’s.
