The terminal has a café area overlooking the main ramp and runway allowing all movements to be seen. The car park and main road running into the airport has views over the GA area and this end of the runway.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Not particularly busy. Croatian Airlines obviously are based with a few flights by the other major European carriers. Take a look at the timetable first to try and time it right to see a few of the Croatian DHC8’s.

 

There is an air force base here as well but I didn’t realize. Its not visible from the terminal area. Not sure if its possible to get views but AN32’s Registrations 727 and 707 are reportedly WFU.
