LANDSIDE

No views from the terminal, its possible you may see some stuff from the side of the terminal but you won’t see any of the stored stuff here.

 

AIRSIDE

Decent views of the main ramp. The stored aircraft and any aircraft parked up are not visible from here. You really need a good window seat here. Left for arrival and right for departure.

 

It can still be difficult to see everything though as there are a few aircraft on either side of the taxiway. Take a look on google earth. There is also a military ramp although the taxiway cuts short of it, but it may be possible to get some stuff. Have your camera ready.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Very Quiet in terms of movements. However you can probably expect to log around 20 aircraft on the various ramps, excluding military.

 

The old Russian aircraft are gradually being broken up. A T154, T134, 2 Yak40’s, 2 AN24’s and an AN12 remain.
