LANDSIDE

International terminal no longer has views.

Domestic terminal – no views from inside. Outside you can get good views of the remote stands where all the ATR’s park. Also views of cargo and other remote stands. From here you have a view over 1 runway but at the time I was there it wasn’t being used.

Its possible to walk to the finnair hangers from the terminal area where you may see a couple more but its very and very cold depending on the time of year. I believe there are spots around the perimeter but you would need a car.

 

AIRSIDE

Plenty of windows and all movements should be seen. Its possible to walk between domestic gates to the European gates and get good views of the runways. If you are on a non EU flight you will also be able to walk between these gates to domestic and re enter again.

 

HOTELS

None seen

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

Finnair and Bue 1 dominate with very little else. At the time of my visit finncomm had 13 ATR’s. I saw 10 and then saw the same 10 a week later so they obviously base a few elsewhere.
