The only reason to come here was because the flight from Nairobi on Kenya Airways stopped in Lagos on the way, and Benin offers an online visa service. Also there was a flight out of here on Air Cote D Ivoire a few hours later so I didn’t have to leave the airport.

In fact I didn’t even need the visa. I was allowed to go through as a transit passenger even though I was connecting onto a different airline. They took me to the departures lounge and then escorted me to check in to get my boarding cards when it opened.

The lounge is more like a bus station but you should be able to eyeball anything from here, Not very busy but a few flights of interest with a Ceiba B737, Cem Air CRJ 900 and Trans Air Congo B737.
